Job summary

Retail Odyssey is seeking an energetic in-store merchandiser to help retailers by building displays, resetting shelves, and tracking inventory to maximize sales opportunities. You will also assist leadership with reporting, scheduling, and onboarding new hires.

Ideal candidates are 18+, comfortable with customers, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and able to use a smartphone or tablet to record shifts. No prior merchandising experience is required, as we provide training and team support to help you

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• 1–2 years merchandising experience or related field is a plus.
• Ability to lead and train teammates.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-store merchandising support by building displays and end caps, resetting shelves, and rotating product.
• Track inventory to help stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities.

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You’re 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experienceHave experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
