Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking a Merchandiser to join our California store in Brea. You will maximize inventory, stock displays, assist with curbside pickup and delivery, and support online orders while delivering friendly, personalized service to customers.

The role emphasizes knowledge of promotions, loyalty programs, and training in wine, spirits, and beer. A flexible schedule including evenings/weekends is required; prior retail POS experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years retail experience; 1+ year preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory software.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory, process freight, stock merchandise, build displays.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build relationships.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of ads, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Ensure store safety and compliance with alcohol laws.
• Load and deliver orders if required and support curbside pickup/delivery.
