Job summary

Bob Mills Furniture is seeking a Manager in Training in Amarillo, TX, to lead store operations and sales efforts. The MIT will learn accounting, finance, cashiering, HR, floor design, warehouse operations, logistics, merchandising, and sales practices.

You will oversee all store functions, train and develop staff across departments, analyze daily reports, and stay informed on product trends to drive performance. Relocation to OKC training may be required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of sales management or general management experience in retail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated sales experience and customer focus.
• Proficient with computer-based systems and MS Office.
• Basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all functions of the store and day-to-day operations.
• Manage all staff including Sales, Warehouse, Office, and Visual departments.
• Retrieve and analyze daily reports including budget, sales numbers, and customer surveys (NPS).
• Stay current on product knowledge and market trends.
• Manage the Sales Teams including selection, training and development of sales associates.
• Interact with customers, resolve issues and assist sales associates with closing sales.
