Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Manager-In-Training to join our retail operations in Washington. This full-time role includes comprehensive benefits and on-the-job training under supervision of the Store Manager, with a clear path to a Store Manager position.

The MIT will learn to supervise daily operations, coach and develop the team, and ensure a courteous environment for customers and staff while aligning with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising in retail or fast food.
• Ability to coach and develop a team.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Driver's license valid.
• English communication skills.
• US work authorization.
• Flexible to work varying shifts incl. overnight/holidays.
• Able to stand/walk 8 hours; lift up to 20 lb occasionally.
• Comfortable in small spaces at times.

Responsibilities

• Complete MIT training under supervision of Store Manager.
• Learn to manage, direct and supervise daily store operations.
• Maintain a pleasant and courteous environment for customers and team.
• Transition into Store Manager role after training.
