Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Manager-In-Training to join our retail team in a full-time role. You will learn to manage daily store operations, supervise staff, and maintain a customer-focused environment under guidance from senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Supervisor, lead or assistant manager in a retail or fast food environment.
• Ability to coach, train and develop team to advance careers.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid, infraction-free driver’s license.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must provide authorization to work in the United States if hired.
• Flexible to work varying shifts, including overnights and holidays.
• Ability to stand or walk for at least 8 hours.
• Able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally and push/pull up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Manage, direct and supervise daily store operations.
• Complete training program under supervision of Store Manager and transition into Store Manager role.
• Maintain a pleasant and courteous environment for customers and team members.
• Supervise and develop store team to achieve goals and policies.
• Adapt to varying shifts and locations as required.
