Job summary

United Pacific is seeking a Manager-In-Training in Stockton, CA for a full-time role with benefits. The MIT will complete a training program under the Store Manager, learning to manage daily store operations and guide the team to meet company goals. On-the-job training precedes a possible Store Manager promotion.

The position requires 5+ years in supervisory roles in retail or fast food, strong English communication, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including overnights and holidays.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Supervisor, lead or assistant manager in a retail or fast food environment.
• Ability to coach, train and develop team members.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Valid, infraction-free Driver's License.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must provide work authorization in the United States if hired.
• Flexible to work varying shifts, including overnight and holidays.
• Ability to stand/walk for at least 8 hours.
• Occasionally lift/carry up to 20 pounds; occasional pushing/pulling up to 20 pounds.
• Occasionally climb a ladder as needed.
• Store environment may require working in small spaces.

Responsibilities

• Complete training program under supervision of Store Manager.
• Learn to manage, direct and supervise daily store operations.
• Maintain a pleasant and courteous environment for customers and team members.
• Receive on-the-job training before transitioning into a Store Manager role.
