America's Thrift in Dalton, GA is seeking a results-driven Retail Manager to support the Store Manager III. You will lead, coach, and develop a diverse team, drive sales, manage inventory, and uphold store standards to deliver a superior shopping experience.

You will oversee daily operations, including hiring, training, scheduling, merchandising, and customer service, while ensuring compliance with policies and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail management or operations experience.
• Strong leadership and ability to develop teams.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and POS systems.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Background, MVR, and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing store team members.
• Provide coaching, performance evaluations, and development plans.
• Foster an inclusive work environment that motivates the team.
• Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries professionally.
• Build relationships with customers and the local community.
• Support sales targets via merchandising and upselling.
• Oversee daily store operations including opening/closing procedures.
• Manage inventory control, quality, and loss prevention.
• Ensure accuracy in cash handling and financial reporting.
• Enforce policies and safety regulations; conduct audits.
• Collaborate with People & Culture and Asset Protection on investigations.
