Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Retail Manager to oversee one or more Sales Departments, ensure strong customer service, and drive store performance. You will manage merchandising, pricing, and staffing while upholding company policies.

The role includes opening/closing the store, staff development, and executing sales plans with a focus on a legendary customer experience. Prior retail management experience is required.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in Retail Management, with responsibility for one or more Sales Departments.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to coach staff to deliver a legendary customer experience.
• Ability to analyze sales data, manage pricing, and execute company sales plans.

Responsibilities

• Supervise one or more Sales Departments and ensure a pleasant, productive shopping experience for customers.
• Open and close the store and assume Manager on Duty responsibilities as needed.
• Staff departments with service-oriented associates; participate in interviewing, training, and performance appraisals.
• Plan, schedule, and coach staff to promote positive customer relations and a productive team environment.
• Resolve customer and associate issues while upholding company policies and applicable laws.
