Job summary

Fourth Floor in New York City seeks a seasoned Retail Manager to lead a luxury jewelry boutique. You will oversee the sales team, coach staff, and drive performance on the floor.

Responsibilities include advising on diamonds and metals, supporting custom design from idea to production, managing scheduling, inventory, and clienteling. Weekend/evening shifts required; on-site role with salary of $110,000-$120,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct team management in a retail environment.
• Experience managing commissioned or goal-driven sales professionals.
• Experience with luxury jewelry and diamonds.
• GIA certification is highly preferred.
• Ability to work retail shifts including weekends, evenings, holidays.

• Oversee merchandising updates, client communications, reporting, and sales or service improvement initiatives.

• Advise associates on diamonds, colored stones, custom design, repairs, settings, and metals
• Provide in real time support for staff on the sales floor, jump in and sell as needed
• Support the team with custom designs, from ideation through production
• Coach associates on product information, clienteling procedures and provide feedback
• Built out selling routines that include monitoring KPIs, documenting performance, and forming long term client relationships
• Manage scheduling, floor coverage, openings and closings, cash handling, security, inventory, and online orders
• Oversee merchandising updates, client communications, reporting, and sales or service improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience directly managing a team of sales associates
• Experience managing experienced, commissioned, or goal-driven sales professionals.
• Experience working with luxury jewelry and diamonds
• GIA certification is highly preferred
• Ability to work retail shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays

Full-time on-site.

Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 commensurate with experience
