Job summary

Capital Pawn in Okeechobee, FL is seeking a Store Management Trainee to learn day-to-day operations, lead a team, and develop leadership skills while handling customer service, inventory, and store performance.

You’ll work with jewelry, electronics, tools and more; earn $20.50–$28.00 per hour plus unlimited commission and store performance bonuses, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply.
• Experience with retail POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service in a customer-focused environment.
• Learn and support all aspects of daily store operations.
• Coach, train, and develop team members.
• Support recruiting and talent development efforts.
• Open and close the store with asset protection and cash handling.
• Oversee inventory management, merchandising, and store presentation.
• Assist with sales, loan, and profitability goals.
• Analyze business results to support decision-making.
• Monitor loan and buying transactions for accuracy and compliance.
• Build product knowledge across merchandise categories.
• Complete management training and development assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
