CVS Health is offering a paid 10-week Retail Management Intern program in Oakland, CA. You will gain hands-on experience leading a store team, engaging customers, and learning day-to-day operations under Store Managers and District Leaders.

You will complete a business-focused project addressing a real opportunity and present recommendations to leadership, developing leadership skills and understanding how decisions impact customer satisfaction and store performance.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be enrolled in an associate or bachelor’s degree program.
• Degree expected between May 2027 and May 2028.
• Desired majors include Business Management/Administration, Hospitality, Entrepreneurship, Retail Studies, General Business.

Responsibilities

• Lead a retail team and engage directly with customers.
• Learn day-to-day store operations alongside Store Managers and District Leaders.
• Develop leadership skills and learn retail management best practices.
• Complete a business-focused project and present findings to leadership.
• Support operational activities including merchandise handling, inventory, and stocking.
