Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Internship is a paid, 10-12-week summer program offering hands-on experience in our retail stores, providing insight into management, sales, and store operations as well as meaningful customer experiences.

Our store internship program is designed to provide you with a comprehensive learning experience through practical business-to-business and retail experience working in a paint store.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Enrolled in a college/university during the internship.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Available to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional in-store and phone customer service.
• Maintain product displays and assist customers with recommendations.
• Develop strong product knowledge to assist inquiries and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Restock shelves, support inventory management and visual merchandising.
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions and general store maintenance.
• Help unload deliveries and organize stockrooms for efficient flow.
• Attend required training and follow store policies including loss prevention.
• Collaborate with interns on a team project addressing a real business challenge.
• Support team members and help complete shared tasks.
