Job summary

ShopRite of Millville is seeking a Maintenance Associate to deliver a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment. You will perform janitorial duties, clean restrooms, and ensure floors and fixtures meet store standards throughout the shift.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and excellent customer service to greet shoppers and assist with questions. This is an on-site position at the ShopRite of Millville location in Millville, NJ.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods during shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical tasks.
• Willingness to work in a busy retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties to keep store premises clean and sanitary.
• Maintain bathrooms, restrooms, and common areas per store guidelines.
• Sweep, mop, and scrub floors; handle trash and recycling.
• Monitor supplies and notify management when reordering needed.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and report malfunctions.
• Greet customers and assist with directions or queries as needed.
