Job summary

ShopRite of Sicklerville is hiring a Maintenance Associate to deliver a great customer experience by providing accurate, friendly service and performing janitorial duties throughout the store. Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, floors, and fixtures, stocking supplies, and ensuring a safe, clean environment for customers and associates.

The role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and work with safety and store policies in mind.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash and recycling containers.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and fixtures.
• Replenish paper and soap supplies in restrooms.
• Clean, mop, sweep, and maintain floors.
• Greet Customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe work/shopping environment.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and report malfunctions.
• Maintain good communication with Store Management and Associates.
