Job summary

Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries seeks a Loss Prevention Specialist to identify and address risks across stores, facilities, and operations. You will manage camera systems, risk assessments, audits, and investigations to protect employees, customers, and organizational assets.

The role requires strong analytical, communication, and confidentiality skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners and respond to urgent Loss Prevention matters outside normal hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of the retail environment and operational processes.
• Knowledge of loss prevention processes, procedures, and programs.
• Strong investigation skills and ability to document findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor camera functionality and identify outages or issues impacting security.
• Support implementation and monitoring of AI-enabled camera technology and other loss prevention tech.
• Identify opportunities to improve security systems and document locations and issues.
• Conduct regular in-person store, facility, and operational audits to identify risks.
• Assess adherence to loss prevention, security, safety, and operational practices.
• Document findings and monitor corrective actions to completion.
• Escalate significant or complex issues to the Loss Prevention Manager.
• Maintain documentation of findings, actions, and outcomes.
• Coordinate with HR, Safety, Retail Management, and Operations as appropriate.
