Job summary

Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries in Cincinnati is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist to support the Loss Prevention program across stores, facilities, and operations. You will focus on camera and security technology, risk assessments, and investigation support, helping safeguard employees, customers, and assets.

The role works with the Loss Prevention Manager and partners to identify risks, implement corrective actions, and respond to incidents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of the retail environment and operational processes.
• Knowledge of loss prevention processes, procedures, and programs.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn and utilize technology-based security and reporting systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor camera functionality and assist with AI-enabled camera technology implementations.
• Perform store, facility, and site risk assessments and audits.
• Conduct investigations involving theft, fraud, or policy violations and document findings.
• Coordinate with HR, Safety, Retail Management and other partners as appropriate.
• Escalate significant or high-profile cases to the Loss Prevention Manager.
