Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. seeks a Loss Prevention Specialist to maintain a safe store environment and deter theft. You will greet customers, monitor entrances, and support store leadership in Loss Prevention directives to minimize operational shortages.

Minimum High School education; 1 year of retail supervisor experience or security training preferred. Active security license preferred and strong communication skills are desirable for this fast-paced role.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required, AA degree preferred.
• One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred.
• One year loss prevention/security training preferred.
• Active Security Guard License preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with the Store team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for Associates and Customers.
• Provide visible command presence and greeting at store entrances/exits.
• Monitor for safety issues and ensure clear egress to emergency exits.
• Assist Store Leadership in compliance with Loss Prevention directives and reduction of shortages.
• Represent and uphold the Ross brand and dress code.
