Job summary

First Texoma National Bank seeks a Loan Officer to solicit, negotiate, underwrite, and coordinate the closing of complex consumer, residential, equipment, agricultural, commercial and business loans. You will interview applicants, assess risk, gather information and present financing requests to Senior Management or Loan Committee.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in banking/finance/business and at least seven years of bank lending experience.

Qualifications

Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in bank lending with proven portfolio.
Strong communication and public relations skills.
Working knowledge of banking and compliance laws and regulations.
Knowledge of financial analysis, credit practices, consumer and commercial lending.

Responsibilities

Solicits, negotiates, underwrites and coordinates the closing of major and complex loans.
Interviews applicants and reviews loan information for accuracy and risk.
Prepares financing requests for Senior Management or Loan Committee approval.
Coordinates processing of approved loans and ensures compliance with bank policies.
Provides leadership and training to less experienced loan officers and staff.
Develops and maintains knowledge of market conditions, rates and competition.
