Job summary

Brixmor Property Group is seeking a Leasing Representative to manage a portfolio of retail properties and lead leasing activities. The role emphasizes developing market-wide tenant, broker, and ownership relationships, negotiating leases, renewals, and coordinating with the corporate office on legal/environmental issues.

The position offers a base salary with a commission plan and potential for additional earnings based on leasing performance.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required for the Leasing Representative role.
• 3–5 years of retail leasing experience is expected.
• Strong deal sheet and negotiation skills are essential.
• Experience canvassing and cold calling is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication are required.
• Ability to build relationships, manage time, and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Source new tenants and negotiate lease terms.
• Analyze leases and close lease transactions.
• Negotiate and complete lease renewals with relevant teams.
• Establish tenant and industry relationships.
• Conduct market surveys and cold calls.
• Develop and send marketing packages to potential tenants.
• Understand market demographics, traffic patterns and trends.
• Calculate ROI, NPV and other financial metrics.
• Understand competing centers and rental rates.
• Travel throughout the region.
