R301US Hibbett Retail, Inc. is seeking a Manager in Training for our Jennings, MO location. The role supports the Store Manager in overall operations and develops knowledge across product areas to promote sales and customer service.

The Manager in Training will assume supervisory duties in the Store Manager’s absence and drive service excellence while upholding company policies and visual standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment, preferably in footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assist in managing a team and meet goals.
• Self-starter with initiative to take on tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling the assets of Hibbett I City Gear.
• Consult with Store Manager to establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume store responsibility in the Store Manager's absence.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards are completed.
• Keep Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
• Ensure quality customer service is maintained.
• Perform general administrative duties and learn Store Manager responsibilities.
• Support extraordinary customer service during peak periods and promote services.
• Uphold all company policies and protect assets and data.
