Hibbett Retail, Inc. in Scottsbluff, Nebraska is seeking a Manager in Training to assist the Store Manager with daily operations, customer service, merchandising, and administrative duties within the Operations department.

Based in our Scottsbluff location, this role learns every product area, promotes sales, and steps in for the Store Manager as needed. Pay is $16.00 hourly with a path toward store leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a retail environment, preferably footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assist in managing a team and keep up with overall goals and profits.
• Is a self-starter, has initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with precision.
• Is a team-player, passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in controlling assets and operations.
• Establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• Lead in the Store Manager's absence and guide staff.
• Provide knowledge to employees and customers across departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics and expenses for profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities are met.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise offered by Hibbett I City Gear.
