Job summary

Hibbett Retail, Inc. is seeking a Manager in Training to assist the Store Manager with operations, merchandising, and customer service in our Texas store. You will learn all product areas, promote promotions, and help ensure excellent store-level execution.

This role requires strong customer service abilities, retail experience, and the ability to lead in the Store Manager’s absence. Training begins immediately to prepare for supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail setting, preferably footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers in all departments as needed.
• Ensure inventory awareness, profitability, and adherence to store policies.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise; uphold company policies and procedures.
• Oversee store operations in Store Manager’s absence and train staff.
