Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Clovis, CA is seeking a Part-Time Retail Team member to support daily store operations, provide exceptional customer service, and assist with donor relations.

Responsibilities include supervising staff in the absence of management, maintaining inventory, and helping meet sales targets while ensuring a welcoming environment for Beneficiaries and customers alike.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of retail experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Must pass background check including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, customers and donors.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with daily store operations including opening/closing, POS operations, inventory and donations.
• Cover Store Manager duties in their absence; oversee personnel and cash handling.
• Monitor KPIs to drive store sales and profitability.
• Schedule staff to ensure proper coverage; lead team meetings and coach employees.
• Ensure high levels of customer and donor satisfaction and maintain community relations.
