Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Indiana seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, service, appearance and operations. The role will lead the team in servicing customers and managing shifts when the Store Manager is absent.

Responsibilities include driving exceptional customer service, staffing during peak hours, assisting in hiring, training and performance coaching, processing orders and returns, and ensuring accurate invoicing and security procedures.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification are required.
• Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team to provide excellent customer service.
• Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom.
• Ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.
• Assist in hiring processes and interviews.
• Process returns, refunds, and exchanges efficiently.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced and secured.
• Oversee opening/closing duties and store safety.
