Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Retail Sales Lead Worker to coordinate store operations, train utility workers and cashiers, and assign daily tasks to ensure outstanding guest service. You will support and lead a team, greet guests, and maintain a professional, energetic atmosphere even without direct management.

The role involves coordinating tasks, supervising staff, managing cash and inventory, and partnering with management to schedule, hire, and ensure safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Mathematical skills are required to facilitate sales reports and audits.
• Must be of legal age to work with alcohol.
• Must provide proof of having earned a responsible alcohol training and certification program where applicable.
• Must be flexible, willing to work a rotational schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Must be fluent in the native language, both spoken and written.
• Must be computer literate in MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Sales Associate and General Utility Worker duties.
• Hold pre-shift meetings to ensure tasks are clear and information is shared.
• Retail Leads should be knowledgeable about surrounding areas, acting as concierge for guests.
• Ensure all guests are greeted when they enter the store.
• Train staff to develop customer service focused professionals.
• Ensure smooth operations in manager’s absence and handle customer relations effectively.
• Respond to customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain stock inventory and note shortages.
• Order merchandise from warehouse/vendors to meet demand.
• Complete monthly safety inspections and file incident reports as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness and pleasant store atmosphere.
• Collect and compile daily cash and sales data using Excel and POS/PM systems.
• Lead nightly close out and balance cash with daily sales.
• May audit cashier documentation.
• Assist management with scheduling and payroll coordination.
