Job summary

Black Diamond Equipment in Boulder, CO is seeking a Retail Lead to ensure a superb shopping experience on the floor, lead and coach staff, and manage daily operations.

You will handle POS transactions, assist customers with gear choices, stock the floor, and place special orders while coordinating with vendors and the store team.

This role may require holidays and weekends and offers benefits such as insurance, 401k with match, paid vacation, paid holidays, and a casual dress code.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of retail experience recommended.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to lead and mentor others.
• Flexible scheduling including holidays, evenings, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with information, advice, and service.
• Supervise daily tasks and guide sales associates in the lead role.
• Assist customers at the POS, including accurate merchandise entry and payments.
• Stock and merchandise inventory on the sales floor.
• Open and close the store in the absence of management.
• Place special orders for customers and coordinate with vendors.
• Assist with rental/demo equipment as needed.
