Job summary

Black Diamond Equipment is seeking a Retail Associate in Jackson Hole, WY, to deliver exceptional customer service and expert product knowledge in climbing, skiing and mountaineering. The role requires friendly communication and accurate POS use for sales and rentals.

Responsibilities include maintaining a tidy store, assisting with rentals, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Weekend/holiday shifts may be required, and benefits include health insurance and 401k matching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Retail sales experience: 6 months minimum.
• Preferred: 1 year in outdoor specialty retail.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with information, advice and service.
• Enter merchandise and payments accurately in the POS system.
• Resolve customer relations issues and ensure satisfaction.
• Assist customers with rental/demo equipment fitting.
• Keep store clean and organized.
• Restock and manage backstock including lifting boxes of gear.
• Open/close the store in manager's absence.
