Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is seeking a Lead Associate to provide store leadership in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant to the Manager. You will demonstrate a commitment to friendly customer service and teamwork in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role requires supervisory experience, high school diploma or equivalent, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Wage is $17.25 per hour, with evenings and weekends common. EOE.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory capacity preferred.
• Strong cash handling and POS skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations in the absence of Store Manager/Assistant to the Manager.
• Closes store, reconciles cash with daily sales reports, and secures facility for night.
• Prepares and maintains records of store operations including daily sales reports and cash deposits.
• Cash register/customer service; receiving, pricing and stocking donations.
• Hanging/Inspecting/Tagging textile & clothing in production style setting.
