Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Cashier/Stocker who can lead in the absence of the Store Manager. You will help set up plan‑o‑grams, stock shelves, assist customers, and maintain store cleanliness to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong math and cash-handling skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to follow SOPs. This is a full‑time, on‑site position focusing on efficiency, safety, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.
• Strong basic math and cash handling skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with plan‑o‑gram implementation and merchandise presentation.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks according to store process.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock and face merchandise; build displays.
• Restock returned merchandise and manage inventory.
• Operate cash register and total purchases; bag items.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Open/close store as directed by Area Manager.
