Job summary

City and Stars is seeking a dynamic Keyholder to help manage relationships internally with our team and externally with customers and the community in Austin. You will support daily operations, manage inventory for both online and in-store channels, and drive sales through creative merchandising and traffic-building initiatives.

The ideal candidate is organized, goal-oriented, and comfortable training staff, coordinating events, and stepping into leadership duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is required.
• Knowledge of POS systems.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Stay up-to-date with current inventory and product knowledge, as well as trends in the industry.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with limited/no mistakes.
• Attention to detail.
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated, able to problem-solve independently and prioritize tasks.
• Flexible schedule - available in-store 10-30 hours per week, including holidays and weekends.
• Able to maneuver around sales floor and lift up to 40 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be 18 years or older with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, before and after daily operations, ensuring the store is presentable and creates a positive environment for customers
• Manage incoming inventory for e-commerce and in-store
• Analyze inventory and find creative ways to generate traffic and drive sales
• Set goals with the team and create plans to meet deadlines
• Assist with coordinating and hosting events, both in-store and in the community
• Assist in training sales associates on store operations, policies, and procedures
• Assume sales associate and manager duties, as needed
