Job summary

Goodwill of WNY is seeking a 3rd Key Holder in Buffalo to lead store operations and foster a positive team environment. You will open/close the store, train associates, and serve customers at the register or on the floor, while ensuring smooth merchandising, cleanliness, and promotions.

Qualified candidates will have retail keyholder experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends; orientation in Buffalo is required for full-time roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform store opening and closing procedures, including securing the building.
• Train Store Associates and act as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Help maintain a positive, productive store environment.
• Deliver outstanding customer service at the register, on the sales floor, or at the donation door.
• Support store operations including merchandising, cleanliness, and promotions.
• Ensure accurate cash handling and POS transactions.
• Sort donations into sellable, salvage, or trash categories.
• Price items using our guide and identify high-value goods.
• Meet daily production goals and quality standards.
