Job summary

The TJ Maxx store in Ponderay, ID is seeking a Key Carrier to support store operations. This role alternates with Coordinator duties, provides leadership, and requires open availability including nights and weekends.

You will model exceptional customer service, coach Associates, and ensure adherence to all procedures. Responsibilities include acting as Manager on Duty, maintaining coverage, and supporting training and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule availability, including nights and weekends.
• Team player with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Able to respond to changes and coach Associates.
• Knowledge of store software, systems, and procedures.
• Minimum 1 year in retail and 6 months in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on Duty and oversee store operations.
• Provide coaching to Associates and ensure customer service.
• Maintain opening/closing procedures per company guidelines.
• Ensure proper staffing and associate coverage.
• Promote safety and shrink-reduction efforts.
• Partner with Management on training needs.
• Support credit and loyalty programs.
