Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Retail IT Deployment Specialist to lead hardware deployments, system installations, and operational IT support across our store network.

You will leverage hands-on experience with MDM, networking hardware, and endpoint troubleshooting to power new store openings and maintain high-performing retail systems, while coordinating with vendors and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field is required or preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT hardware deployment and support, preferably in a retail environment.
• Relevant IT certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate IT hardware deployments across stores, ensuring smooth setup, installation, and functioning of IT systems.
• Communicate and coordinate with vendors for timely and accurate delivery and installation of IT assets.
• Provide incident management support, monitoring and managing ticket queues related to IT hardware repairs, ensuring quick resolution to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Networking, IT Security, Operations, Help Desk, and POS Support to ensure integrated IT support for retail stores.
• Actively participate in new store opening and deployment projects, ensuring all IT requirements are met promptly and efficiently.
• Monitor and address IT hardware-related queries, providing timely solutions to the retail teams.
