Job summary

Burberry in New York is seeking a store operations assistant to support back-of-house activities and inventory control. You will manage stock receipt from hubs, assist sales with stock pulls, and maintain an orderly, compliant stockroom environment to ensure smooth store operations.

Responsibilities include quality checks, aftersales support (alterations, repairs, personalization), and coordinating with customer service.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in core Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with SAP is desirable.
• Ability to work in a busy team environment.

Responsibilities

• Inventory control including receiving stock orders from hub or warehouse and reporting discrepancies.
• Support sales with timely stock retrieval including Omnichannel and stock pullback.
• Keep back of house tidy and compliant with Retail Operations standards.
• Quality control on products and report issues to store lead.
• Support aftersales process (alterations, repairs, personalization) to elevate client experience.
• Ensure stockroom equipment is functioning; raise concerns via internal services.
• Adhoc administration: calls, customer service liaison, orders, general admin tasks.
• Assist with events, visual merchandising, stock taking and similar duties as needed.
