Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an Inventory & Operations associate to execute and coach storewide inventory best practices across front end and pharmacy. Responsibilities include receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and planogram validation, with emphasis on maintaining accurate on‑hand balances.

The role supports warehouse/vendor inventory workflows, ensures timely postings, and maintains inventory accuracy while performing basic store duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens experience or one year of prior retail experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multitask and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Executes, monitors, and trains inventory best practices and SOPs for the entire store (front end and pharmacy).
• Supports pharmacy inventory management activities including receiving, counting, ordering, and returns.
• Manages on‑shelf availability and inventory processes including receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and planograms.
