Job summary

Tricoci Salon & Spa in Geneva, IL is seeking a Retail Inventory Coordinator to manage day-to-day retail operations and inventory within the salon and spa, ensuring excellent client service and achievement of retail goals. You will uphold replenishment integrity, place orders, track stock, and coordinate bi-annual physical counts while maintaining organized stock areas and clear communication with teams.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of retail and inventory within the salon and spa to ensure client service standards and achievement of retail and service sales goals.
• Uphold the integrity of the automatic replenishment system and perform tasks such as placing orders, stock control, merchandising, stock movement.
• Completes salon-to-salon transfers and completes required paperwork promptly.
• Communicate out-of-stocks to salon/spa and warehouse on a weekly basis.
• Coordinate and lead bi-annual physical inventory.
• Use inventory system to track and audit discrepancies at salon/spa level.
• Ensure stock areas are clean and organized and easy to navigate.
• Place weekly supply orders and monitor quantities within budget guidelines and days of supply targets.
• Lead monthly stock control counts, audits, and return audits for accuracy.
• Distribute orders, receive boxes, and ensure accuracy.
• Communicate new policies and procedures to teams.
• Write supplemental orders as necessary to replenish.
• Rotate products and maintain cleanliness on shelving.
• Promote storefront displays and ensure holiday collateral is stocked.
• Perform daily stock movement and weekly audits for hair, nail, and spa departments.
• Attend monthly Retail Coordinator meetings to stay current on policies and procedures.
• Conduct weekly active assortment audits for hair and nail departments and assist in supplemental ordering.

Here are some highlights of what you will be doing in this role:

• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of retail and inventory within the salon and spa to ensure a high level of client service standards and achievement of overall retail and service sales goals.
• Responsible for upholding the integrity of the automatic replenishment system and performing functions such as placing orders, stock control, merchandising, stock movement.
• Completes salon-to-salon transfers and completes required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Communicates in salon | spa and warehouse out of stocks with departments on a weekly basis.
• Coordinates and leads bi-annual physical inventory.
• Uses the company’s inventory system to track and audit any discrepancies found at the salon | spa level.
• Ensures all stock areas are clean and organized in a way that is easy to navigate.
• Places weekly supply orders and monitors order quantities to ensure that they are within the Open to Buy Budget Guidelines as well as the current days of supply targets.
• Leads monthly Stock Control Book counts, audits, and return audits for accuracy.
• Distributes orders, receives boxes, and ensures their accuracy.
• Communicate all new policies and procedures to the teams.
• Writes supplemental orders as necessary to replenish.
• Ensures all products on shelving units are regularly rotated and maintained for cleanliness standards.
• Maintains storefront displays that promote the company (if applicable)
• Ensures all collateral needed for holidays is always at an optimal level.
• Performs stock movement for all departments daily. Completes station audits for hair, nail, and spa departments a minimum of two times per week.
• Attends monthly Retail Coordinator meetings to stay current on policies and procedures.
• Perform weekly active assortment audits for hair and nail departments and assist the GM in placing the supplemental order.

Here are some of the skills that we are looking for in this individual:

• Experience with hospitality, retail, or customer service in a fast-paced environment. Beauty, spa or salon experience a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution track record.
• Experience with Excel and Word.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to work various schedules including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Strong communication, excellent communication skills and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Able to stand on your feet for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to twenty-five pounds.
