Job summary

Tricoci Salon & Spa is hiring Salon Assistants in Illinois for part-time and full-time roles. You will support Hairstylists and Colorists with shampooing, treatment application, and conditioning, while maintaining stations and adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.

Join a team focused on exceptional client service, strong guest relationships, and a collaborative environment with growth opportunities. Training is provided, and shifts may include evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Shampoo clients and assist Hairstylists and Colorists.

• Maintain blow-dry, stations, and dispensary areas.
• Keep areas clean and sanitize equipment.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and hygienic procedures.
• Promote teamwork and high levels of client service.

Here are some highlights of what you will be doing in this role:

• Responsible for providing a high standard of assistance to Hairstylists and Hair Colorists by performing:
• Shampooing clients,
• Applying and monitoring treatments,
• Executing conditioning treatments,
• Support the standards of Tricoci by maintaining:
• Blow dry/self-serve stations,
• Hairstylist stations,
• Shampoo areas,
• Dispensary areas,
• Laundry (keeping up with the flow of services) and more.
• Ensure safety standards and cleanliness, keeping the work area clean and equipment properly sanitized.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygienic procedures before, during and after services; always ensure board compliance.
• Be an active and engaged member of the Tricoci team that promotes teamwork and a high level of client services throughout the Salon and Spa.

• Experience with retail, hospitality, or customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work various schedules including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Strong communication, excellent communication skills and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to build and maintain strong guest relationships.
• Able to stand on your feet for prolonged periods of time.
