Job summary

Tricoci Salon & Spa is seeking a Retail Inventory Coordinator to manage day-to-day inventory and retail operations across salon and spa locations in Bloomingdale, IL. You will uphold replenishment systems, coordinate transfers, and lead bi-annual inventories while ensuring stock accuracy and organized displays.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, experience in hospitality/retail, and proficiency with Excel and Word.

Qualifications

• Experience with hospitality, retail, or customer service in a fast-paced environment. Beauty, spa or salon experience a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution track record.
• Experience with Excel and Word.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritise and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to work various schedules including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Strong communication, excellent communication skills and organizational skills.
• Able to stand on your feet for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to twenty-five pounds.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day operations of retail and inventory within the salon and spa to ensure client service standards and sales goals.
• Uphold the integrity of the automatic replenishment system and place orders, stock control, merchandising, stock movement.
• Complete salon-to-salon transfers and required paperwork.
• Communicate stock outs to salon, spa and warehouse on a weekly basis.
• Coordinate and lead bi-annual physical inventory.
• Use inventory system to track and audit discrepancies.
• Ensure stock areas are clean and organized for easy navigation.
• Place weekly supply orders and monitor quantities within Open to Buy guidelines and days of supply.
• Lead monthly Stock Control Book counts, audits, and return audits for accuracy.
• Distribute orders, receive boxes, ensure accuracy.
• Communicate new policies and procedures to teams.
• Write supplemental orders as necessary to replenish.
• Ensure products on shelving are rotated and maintained for cleanliness.
• Maintain storefront displays promoting the company.
• Ensure collateral for holidays is at optimal level.
• Perform stock movement daily; station audits for hair, nail, and spa at least twice weekly.
• Attend monthly Retail Coordinator meetings.
• Perform weekly active assortment audits for hair and nail and assist GM in placing supplemental orders.

Here are some highlights of what you will be doing in this role:

• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of retail and inventory within the salon and spa to ensure a high level of client service standards and achievement of overall retail and service sales goals.
• Responsible for upholding the integrity of the automatic replenishment system and performing functions such as placing orders, stock control, merchandising, stock movement.
• Completes salon-to-salon transfers and completes required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Communicates in salon | spa and warehouse out of stocks with departments on a weekly basis.
• Coordinates and leads bi-annual physical inventory.
• Uses the company’s inventory system to track and audit any discrepancies found at the salon | spa level.
• Ensures all stock areas are clean and organized in a way that is easy to navigate.
• Places weekly supply orders and monitors order quantities to ensure that they are within the Open to Buy Budget Guidelines as well as the current days of supply targets.
• Leads monthly Stock Control Book counts, audits, and return audits for accuracy.
• Distributes orders, receives boxes, and ensures their accuracy.
• Communicate all new policies and procedures to the teams.
• Writes supplemental orders as necessary to replenish.
• Ensures all products on shelving units are regularly rotated and maintained for cleanliness standards.
• Maintains storefront displays that promote the company (if applicable)
• Ensures all collateral needed for holidays is always at an optimal level.
• Performs stock movement for all departments daily. Completes station audits for hair, nail, and spa departments a minimum of two times per week.
• Attends monthly Retail Coordinator meetings to stay current on policies and procedures.
• Perform weekly active assortment audits for hair and nail departments and assist the GM in placing the supplemental order.
