Job summary

Calqulate is seeking an Intermediate Technical Architect Designer / Project Professional to lead retail-focused drawing production and coordinate with consultants throughout the project lifecycle. This hybrid New York role requires strong technical execution in retail interiors, and collaboration with project managers for timely construction documentation.

Ideal candidates will have 3–8 years in retail interiors, expert Revit and AutoCAD skills, familiarity with Bluebeam and Adobe Design

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of professional experience, preferably focused on retail interiors.
• Independent thinker who can collaborate, manage multiple tasks, and communicate effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to perform architectural site surveys.
• Produce detailed drawing sets across SD, DD and CD with retail-focused detailing.
• Coordinate with external consultants to ensure complete construction documents for landlord approvals and permits.
• Assist the Project Manager with coordinating construction documents for approval.
• Attend weekly virtual OAC calls during construction and review shop drawings and RFIs.
• Attend weekly OAC calls during construction and travel for site visits as needed.
