Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to lead onsite HR initiatives at our store, supporting leadership and Outfitters in staffing, training, engagement, orientation and onboarding, and administrative excellence.

The role partners with the General Manager on administrative functions, assists with policy communication, performance management, and record keeping, and may travel occasionally to support other stores; requires a High School Diploma and 1–3 years HR experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years in human resources or administrative roles.
• High school diploma required; bachelor's in HR preferred.
• Strong data interpretation and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supports staffing and onboarding for hourly Outfitters.
• Assists with training and employee engagement initiatives.
• Maintains HRIS records and handles payroll-related actions for hourly staff.
• Coordinates travel, expenses, and store supplies.
• Assists with policy communication and performance processes.
