Job summary

SSA Group is seeking an Assistant Retail Operations Manager to oversee multiple Gift Shop and Gift Kiosk locations. You will lead a dynamic team, drive sales, ensure compliance, and uphold brand standards in a fast-paced cultural attraction environment.

You will recruit and develop staff, monitor inventory and cash controls, partner with the Retail Operations Manager and Buyer, and maintain a safe, welcoming guest experience across all sites.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to train and coach staff.

Responsibilities

• Show dynamic leadership ability and motivate staff to exceed customer and client expectations.
• Hire, recruit, supervise, evaluate performance, coach, and manage employee exits.
• Develop training programs to motivate and mentor employees.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
• Oversee inventory control activities and merchandise presentation standards.
• Manage daily reporting of sales and operate POS systems efficiently.
• Forecast sales and assist with payroll budgeting and scheduling.
• Promote inclusive, collaborative teamwork and brand alignment.
