Job summary

IKEA in Hicksville, New York is seeking a Product Recovery Associate to help the store do more with less. You will minimize internal damages, take products for repackaging and assembly, and present As-Is items with strong commercial expression and attractive pricing that still drives store results.

You will also support quality work to improve customers' perception of IKEA products. We value sustainability, inclusivity, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of retail experience preferred.
• Knowledge of how to build quality IKEA furniture.
• Knowledge of waste management and sustainability principles.
• Attention to detail while multi-tasking is a must.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects up to 50-75lbs. or more.
• Medium to high level of technology savviness using multiple handheld devices and computer programs such as Excel.

JOB TYPE – Permanent, Part-time

BENEFITS ELIGIBLE? Yes

HOURS – 12-20 hours per week. Must be able to work some weekdays and weeknights. Must have complete open working availability on Saturdays & Sundays between the hours of 9:00am-10:00pm.

The hourly pay rate range for this role is $19.91 - $28.12

• Ability to self-start and have good and quick decision making.
• Experience working in a customer and commercial-oriented business.
• Must be able/comfortable to lift, push, and pull heavy objects up to 50-75lbs. or more.
