Job summary

IKEA Costa Mesa is seeking a part-time retail associate to help customers, assemble and display IKEA products, and present items in a compelling As-Is flow while maintaining high quality and sustainability standards. You’ll partner with teammates to manage costs, improve the shopping experience, and ensure every guest leaves satisfied.

This permanent, part-time role requires availability for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail experience.
• Knowledge of how to assemble IKEA products.
• Knowledge of waste management and sustainability principles.
• Experience in customer- and commercial-oriented business.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to minimizing internal damages or other costs related to IKEA products.
• Take necessary action on products to give them a second chance, such as repackaging and assembly.
• Present IKEA products in As-Is using a strong commercial expression, selling these products with pride and setting relevant prices that are attractive to customers yet still generate the best results for the store.
• Support the quality work in the store to continually improve customers' perception of IKEA products.
• Consider sustainability impact when recovering products.
• Foster an environment where IKEA culture is a strong reality embracing diversity of co-workers and customers.

You will:

• Contribute to minimizing all internal damages or other costs related to IKEA products.

JOB TYPE: Permanent – Part-Time (limited benefits)

HOURS: 12–20 hrs/week (PT)

PAY RANGE: $19.91 - $28.12

SHIFT: Retail Environment; must be able to work nights & weekends.
