Job summary

Goodwill Cottage Grove in Cottage Grove, OR is seeking a Customer Service Associate to support front-end operations, donations processing, and price-tagging to ensure smooth merchandise flow.

You will greet donors and customers, operate the cash register, maintain a clean, safe sales floor, and collaborate with teammates to reach store goals.

Must be 16 or older (18+ for certain equipment), no formal education required, and be willing to become certified on equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older, must be 18 years to operate safety sensitive equipment.
• Experience in retail or customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting, assisting and engaging with customers and donors.
• Operate cash register and POS; handle transactions accurately and balance cash drawer.
• Receive, sort, and price donated goods according to guidelines and quality standards.
• Restock merchandise, create displays, and maintain an organized, visually appealing sales floor.
• Ensure sales floor, fitting rooms, donation and production areas, and restrooms are clean and safe.
