Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. in Columbia, SC is hiring a Full-Time Customer Service Supervisor or Selling Floor Supervisor to lead front-end operations and develop a strong store team.

As part of the store leadership, you will supervise all front-end functions, train associates, ensure exceptional customer service, and support safety and asset protection while promoting a diverse, inclusive workplace with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience within a retail/off-price environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store functions and associates while in the role of Manager on Duty.
• Maximize sales results through training, developing, and coaching of direct reports.
• Promote safety for both customers and associates by adhering to company guidelines.
• Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
• Solve issues/concerns, making informed decisions and supervising the front-end operations to ensure exceptional, friendly customer service.
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to minimize shortage.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
• Drive community relations participation through company programs and partnerships.
• Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence.
