Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. in Asheville, NC is seeking a Freight Coordinator to support our goal of delivering an enjoyable shopping experience for guests. You will handle receiving shipments, unpacking daily deliveries, shipping merchandise, and keeping backrooms clean and organized.

Key duties include processing transfers, preparing shipments for guests via FedEx, maintaining shipment paperwork, and collaborating with store leadership to ensure accurate, well-presented merchandise on the floor.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or training required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Compare and verify merchandise invoices to items received to ensure that shipments are correct.
• Send alterations, layaways, or special orders to guests via FedEx.
• Check accuracy of freight packing slips and transfer slips.
• Double-check that all transfers have been processed through the register and that items match what you are shipping out.
• When shipping items to guests and other stores, fold items and place them in an appropriately sized box for presentation.
• Remove pins and plastic from merchandise shipped in; apply Sensormatic tags; hang/fold Merchandise; steam when necessary.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of POS software; receive freight boxes and store transfers through register.
