Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking a Freight Coordinator to support the store by receiving and unpacking daily shipments, shipping merchandise, backroom maintenance, and routine cleaning of facilities. You will verify invoices, process transfers, and ensure shipments are accurately prepared for presentation on the sales floor.

Role requires a proactive approach, ability to work with store management, and commitment to guest service. Part-time position with benefits and a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No prior experience or training required.

Responsibilities

• Compare and verify merchandise invoices to items received to ensure shipments are correct.
• Send alterations, layaways, or special orders to guests via FedEx.
• Check accuracy of freight packing slips and transfer slips.
• Double-check that all transfers have been processed through the register and that items match what you are shipping out.
• When shipping items to guests and other stores, fold items and place them in an appropriately sized box for proper presentation upon unpacking.
• Remove pins and plastic from merchandise shipped in and place Sensormatic tags on garments.
• Hang and fold merchandise to be put on the sales floor and steam when necessary.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of POS software and process shipments and store transfers.
