Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking a Freight Coordinator to help fulfill our mission: to create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for our Guests.

The role involves handling daily shipments, receiving and unpacking goods, shipping merchandise, backroom maintenance, and routine cleaning of facilities. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, with responsibilities spanning freight processing, merchandising, and ensuring accuracy of shipments.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or training required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends and holiday periods.

Responsibilities

• Verify merchandise invoices against received items to ensure shipment accuracy.
• Coordinate sending alterations or special orders to guests via FedEx.
• Check accuracy of freight packing slips and transfer slips.
• Confirm that transfers are processed through the register and items match shipments.
• Box and present items properly for unpacking.
• Hang, fold and steam merchandise for the sales floor; assist on floor projects.
• Maintain shipment-related paperwork and organize backroom areas.
• Monitor for security risks and theft and know how to handle such situations.
• Create FedEx labels for outgoing packages and sort by shipment transit time.
• Process recalls and RTVs weekly; keep supplies stocked and organized.
