Job summary

Buckle in Slidell, LA is seeking a part-time Freight Coordinator to support receiving and unpacking daily shipments, shipping merchandise, and keeping backroom areas organized. The role also involves assisting with basic store operations and ensuring items are presented properly on the floor.

Responsibilities include verifying invoices, handling transfers, and preparing FedEx shipments while maintaining safety and neatness in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or training.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Verify merchandise invoices against items received to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and ship items, including sending alterations or special orders to Guests.
• Process freight and transfer paperwork and maintain shipment records.
• Organize backroom, fixtures, and shelving; keep area neat and safe.
• Provide friendly guest service and support store operations as needed.
