Job summary

Buckle in McClane City, LA is seeking a part-time Freight Coordinator to support daily store operations and help create an enjoyable shopping experience for our Guests.

The role includes receiving shipments, processing transfers, packing merchandise, and maintaining backroom organization while upholding Buckle’s policies. No prior experience is required, and a POS familiarity is beneficial for accurate transactions.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Able to handle merchandise and shipments accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and organization in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify merchandise invoices against received items to ensure correct shipments.
• Process alterations, layaways, or special orders via FedEx.
• Check accuracy of freight packing slips and transfer slips.
• Ensure transfers are properly processed through the register and items match shipping outputs.
• Fold/hang merchandise and prepare for the sales floor; steam when needed.
• Support on-floor projects and maintain a neat, organized backroom.
